Adani Group sells 20% stake in Adani Wilmar for ₹7,150 crore

Adani Group to Fully Exit AWL Agri Business (formerly Adani Wilmar Ltd) Deal Structure: Adani Commodities LLP (ACL) — a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) — will sell up to 20% stake in AWL to Lence Pte. Ltd, a wholly owned unit of Wilmar International (Singapore). Shares priced at ₹275/share, valuing the deal at approximately ₹7,150 crore. Remaining 10.42% stake to be sold to pre-identified investors arranged by Wilmar. Post-sale, Adani will fully exit AWL, ending the joint venture. Post-Transaction Impact: Wilmar’s stake in AWL will increase to ~64%, becoming the majority shareholder. AWL will no longer be an associate of Adani Enterprises. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, including anti-trust clearance. Financial Realisation: Total cash inflow to ACL from this divestment: ₹10,874 crore from this transaction ₹4,855 crore raised earlier via OFS in January 2025 Total: ₹15,729 crore
